Booklet
Ephemera designed for the installation Liquid Glass at the Chicago Architecture Biennial, where graphic overlays translate the material qualities of the pieces on display at Stony Island Arts Bank, published in 2025
Booklet compiles information about the project Liquid Glass including research, material studies and photographic experiments documenting a chilled glass pane, acclimating to room temperature. The installation re-imagines condensation across windows and is composed of hanging, resin objects embedded with various sized lenses. Each object measures 24” by 36”, or the familiar dimensions of a domestic window or standard architectural drawing. The booklet uses these proportions and translates the blurry qualities of the objects graphically – layering and inverting images and text as mirrored shadows.
